The Toledo Brake Monitor measures the brake
stopping time in milliseconds and will automatically prevent the
activation of a successive stroke, if the stopping time is beyond
the brake limit setpoint.
This easy to operate,
encoder based monitor provides accuracy and meets and/or exceeds OSHA,
ANSI and CSA requirements. |

| Features |
| Alarm Setting |
The Alarm settings, when exceeded, will
open a relay and not allow the press to cycle.
It will display BRAKE FAULT on the LCD display and the
ALARM Light will turn on. |
| Warning Setting |
The Warning setting, when exceeded, will
display BRAKE WARNING on the LCD display and the WARNING
light will turn on. The brake warning light will continue
to flash until it is acknowledged, even if the next stop
time is below the warning setting. |
| Drift Fault |
This fault is caused by the Brake Monitor
seeing motion on the encoder without the clutch valve being
engaged. When this is sensed, the Brake Monitor will open
the stop relay and display DRIFT FAULT on the LCD display
as well as turning on the red ALARM light. |
| No Motion Fault |
This fault is caused by the Brake Monitor not
seeing motion on the encoder, while the clutch is engaged.
If motion is not achieved or motion is lost, the Brake Monitor
will open the stop relay and display NO MOTION FAULT on the LCD
display as well as turning on the red ALARM light. |
| Brake Test Mode |
The Toledo Brake Monitor has a built in 90 degree
stop test. This test mode will initiate a stop when the press
moves 90 degrees from the time the clutch is engaged. When the
press is stopped, the brake monitor will display the stopping
time of the test - in milliseconds. |
